"End of life care"

About: Milton Keynes Hospital

My husband was admitted to Ward 14 in early June and moved to Ward 7 after a massive stroke. He died there on July9th. He had vascular dementia and was not able to communicate verbally. Nursing staff showed great patience and understanding and managed to get through to him and involve him in his treatment.. I cannot praise highly enough the kindness and compassion the staff on both wards showed to my husband and to me and my family. The consultant and their team on ward 7 gave their time to explain what was happening and involved us at every step of the way. Thank you.
