"Frustration"

About: Charing Cross Hospital

I waited 9 months before getting an appointment to see a neurosurgeon regarding my tumor.

My symptoms were so pronounced to me that I ended up paying to see the neurosurgeon privately for an appointment in case it was cancelled and rescheduled again. I finally did see the surgeon privately, they viewed my MRIs that were taken from another hospital and dismissed my symptoms due to the small size of my tumor. they then ordered an MRI and told me that they were not willing to do anything and I should just live with my symptoms. Few weeks later, I travelled abroad and had a seizure and turns out the dr told me to have surgery within a few months before i suffered a stroke due to the increase in size of my tumor! I fail to understand how this was missed by the neursurgeon??? I had the surgery abroad as I felt it was less stressful but returned and updated the surgeon who has now referred me to a different neurosurgeon! No explanation given.

Should i be concerned .... frustrated for sure to be dismissed and told to get on with life when in reality I escaped a stroke.
