"Appointment- Mission Impossible"

The main frustration with the surgery is that you can never get an appointment .

It is impossible to get through at 8:30 in the morning and by the time you do get through all the appointments have gone . That being said every time I have managed to get an appointment the doctors have been very good.

I recently became ill and was unable to get an appointment at the surgery who kindly pointed out that they are not an emergency service. I was told to use the after hours service which was also fully booked . This meant that a visit to the urgent care centre was necessary and following that and an ambulance ride to Fairfield General Hospital ED

I must say however after my discharge from hospital I managed to get an appointment with the doctor straightaway. The doctor was really helpful and pleasant and took the time to explain my condition to me. Such a shame that this practice is spoilt by having such a chaotic appointment system and more patients than It can handle.
