My partner was booked in for c section on 11 August we arrived at 7am as told no problems at all offered tea coffe well I was my partner wasn't allowed? Staff were all brilliant was told surgeon and anethatis would be around to talk around 8.30 but came around about 8.15 the surgeon as far as I'm aware had just been shipped over from Birmingham can't remember their name but was extremely professional but not only that they were realy approachable which made my partner feel a lot more at ease anyway about 10.40 we whent into theatre we was 2nd on the list and I'm going to be honest I'm not the best person for this thing but wasn't about me. Everyone in theatre introduced them selves and was all very professional but same again very comforting from start to finish I think the whole procedure was roughly 45 minutes including spinal block being administered but from first cut to last stick the procedure was 20 minutes I no each person can vary so don't take that as gospel but the whole time the surgeons were doing the procedure they were talking freely to my partner about different things and were brilliant in letting me cut the cord after they had made the first cut and also telling us the sex of the baby by keeping it a secret are trying to I just thought I had to write this as I was realy worried for my partner but in these professionals hands there was nothing to worry about really appreciated all the help from everyone at the Shropshire women and children's centre where brilliant and just wanted to show my gratitude thank you.
