"Difficulties getting a referral"

I've heard nothing so far. It's now August and no paperwork or appointment received. After many, many phone calls later, (I could write a book) nobody could find a referral for my sister, then after some delving by the staff there, said yes there was a referral, one said the consultant was not keen to see my sister( why?)

Phone calls took place between bath road and buxton medical centre on temple road, but no progress. Bath road gave me adult education which had been part of bath road but had moved to corbar view- confusion reigns.

Spoke to bath road clinic again, and buxton medical practise.

I thought today to rebook an appointment with the doctor to rebook referral! but appointments not available until next Thursday nearly 7 days! ! The person who deals with referrals on holiday, spoke to practice manager to will look into it but needs my sister written authority which I am happy to do, I did attend the original appointment but understand the need for confidentiality and the time it takes.. No one dare make a move these days.

I am only trying to assist my sister, but unfortunately the system is against you at times. After wanting to make a direct complaint, I was informed you have to do it online! (Facebook) No it cant be!

After trawling the web, I found this.

I rang a hospital up the other day to contact some one. 5 people later - she is not in! !

I am writing this in pure frustration and wonder how many people, not just vunerable, shy, read or write anxious people, can't get or wait. who don't know how to access these wonderful facilities.
