It is hardly reassuring to discover just at the point when youre exhausted from caring for your relative, that you are forced to play "care roulette" finding a facility with high enough standards you can entrust the care of your loved one.
Finding a facility in South-East Essex for my Mum that actually justified the word "care" in care home was incredibly hard.
Despite assurances to the contrary, regretably the county council does not vet these facilities to the standard you would expect, placing the vulnerable in sub-standard and woefully under-staffed homes much to the detriment of the residents.
Our family experienced a lot of heartache.
By contrast Rawreth Court is life a breath of fresh air.
The staff are very caring and courteous not only towards their patients but to their family and visitors.
The standard of cleanliness is excellent and more importantly perhaps this is also reflected in the personal care extended towards patients.
I would be content to find my Mum clean and presentable but they also go the extra mile to colour co-ordinate her clothing, a touch that I know my Mum would appreciate.
I can honestly say this is the first home I can trust to look after my Mum to the degree I would expect.
By so doing it means I can finally relax knowing she is being properly cared for.
Rawreth Court is the place you picture in your mind's eye when the time comes to pass on the baton of responsibility.
Highly recommended.
