I was taken to hospital after losing my vision and refd to tia clinic to see consultsnt . I hadnt had a stroke but consultant there suggested i could help my massively high bp by going on a vegan diet. Although being skeptical i said ok if u think its going to help bring it on went to tesco and bought everything vegan i could get my hands on. 2 weeks later saw the hypertension nurse who said my own dr had put notes on my record to say if my bp hadnt gone down i was to have my meds increased she then took my bp took it again then took it again manuallly then finally said to me what have u been doing? I asked why she had asked that she said because yr blood pressure has dropped like a stone she then weighed me and i had lost 4and a half pounds! Since then i have lost about a stone and a quarter and am now totally off the bp meds so thank you dr this vegan diet hastruly changed my life and you are a superstar! I think you should inform everyone of the benefits of a vegan diet i hsd had known about this i would have done it years ago i am now biking from lytham to st annes reguarly and have more energy than i have had in yrs so a big thank you,
"consultant had changed my life"
