can only say im my experience after having total knee replacement the standard through out was highly satisfactory from the first meeting with the consultant who looked at my xray and a date was offered of which I accepted pre op went 100% admission the same operation went a dream along with the support of the physios . room was clean and tidy although I was on the Lancaster rd side traffic noise was never a problem ( I do like an open window which I had) food no complaints follow up after care was brilliant can only recommend the oaklands 18months on 100% satisfied all this and they were at the time in a large building expansion programme of which both the bulders and oaklands staff did an excellent job in keeping the area in a hospital environment
