I had a faultless service in A&E for a broken ankle - quickly and competently treated. Fracture clinic this morning was a long wait in an overcrowded waiting area. The wait is understandable especially on a Monday but the environment isn't fit for purpose. There are no easily accessible sources of fluids for patients - the nature of their injuries mean they can't easily mobilize to the areas that have outlets/machines. The staff shout names of patients for appts which are hard to hear in a large noisy room. I understand that it's a high volume service and that is,challenging but investment in the environment would improve the experience for patients immeasurably
