"Visit with 15month old baby"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

We visited with a very poorly 15 month young baby. Not knowing what the diagnosis could possibly be and obviously his mum very worried, we were calmly and professionally reassured. The place is superclean. The doctors and nurses and any other staff were fantastic.Everything was explained at all times, you knew where you stood and we were encouraged to ask questions if we had any queries. For the baby there were things to play and distractions on offer. Many thanks indeed.

Dear Dorien,

Many thanks for your review and for finding the time to share it. I'm sorry that you've had the worry of bringing your baby into hospital. It is lovely to read that you were reassured by our staff and that everything was fully explained to you by an attentive medical team. It is also great that you felt able to ask questions if you needed to.

I will pass your review on to all the teams involved . Thank you for noticing the efforts of our hard-working domestic team - they'll be chuffed to know how spotless you thought the hospital was. All feedback like this is great for staff morale and allows them to stay focused on the things that matter.

All the best to you and the wee one - I hope well on the mend by now ?

Annie
