Any tests that patients participate in are reviewed by the consultant requesting them and acted on accordingly. However, there are exceptional circumstances where appointments are changed. This decision is not taken lightly, patient care and treatment is always taken into consideration when this happens. If the patient's symptoms have got worse then a visit to the GP should be a first port of call or a telephone call to the consultant's secretary for advice. We hope you find this information helpful.

Kind regards
