"Thank you Bath Fertility Clinic"

Our journey began in April 2011 when we decided it was time to start a family, little did we know the journey that lay ahead us.

We assumed it would be a case of ditching the contraceptive but this was not the case. In September 2012 we got those two blue lines. 10 weeks later our baby was discovered to be ectopic. I would have to undergo surgery. This resulted in me loosing my left tube.

This still meant we had a chance so we continued to try. 2 years down the line still nothing despite test after test. It was discovered that our fertility issue were due to male mobility.

We were advised by the GP to make an appointment at a fertility clinic. Having been given three clinic names we made the decision to go with Bath Fertility Clinic and I am so glad we did.

As we entered the clinic I had so many questions and anxieties, but the minute we walked through those doors I was immediately put at ease.

The reception team are warm and welcoming and always have a smile waiting for you. We sat and waited for our consultation in a warm homely waiting area. The consultation was taken at our pace and the doctor ensured any questions we had were answered. I left confident knowing that I had chosen the right clinic.

Next was the return to see the nurses and start all the medication and what can I say!! I have never met a more dedicated, knowledgeable friendly team of nurses. Everything was made very clear and they reassured us they were always on the end of the phone.

We started the next part of out journey with the clinic and every step was undertaken with dignity respect and nothing but hard work from the whole team.

Our first fresh round of ICSI was successful we couldn't believe it. At the first scan it was discovered to be twins.

Sadly we lost our precious boys at 18 weeks. This was due to complications with identical twins and nothing to do with IVF. We were fully supported by the amazing team.

When it came to trying again we were once again welcomed by the warm supportive team. All our questions were answered and we never felt like a nuisance for ringing or asking what may have been perceived as a "silly" question

We completed a Frozen embryo transfer on a natural cycle and were successful. After 5 years and many bumps along the way , I gave birth to our beautiful little rainbow baby on 23rd April 2016. Daisy is our rainbow after our storm. When we were discharged to carry on with normal maternity services I was sad to say goodbye to the team.

Every step of our journey was personalised and undertaken with care and dedication. For our little miracle we cannot thank Bath fertility team enough. The Dr's, lab team, nurses and receptionist are an amazing team of caring people.

Recently a friend has begun an IVF journey, Without any hesitation I recommended Bath Fertility Clinic and would recommend them to anyone.
