"Not happy!"

About: Leighton Hospital

I had wrote a review previously in December, for how well the doctors had treated me. And that i was awaiting a letter for a ECHO scan. 9 months later i have still not recieved any letter. I am not happy about this, as i have previously contacted Leighton Hospital wondering where my letter is. I had been transfered through to some lady, which had been put straight to answer phone. I had left a message to arrange for the doctor/nurse to call be back, i havent heard anything since. I have been waiting expecting the letter to come but i have heard nothing. I am not happy with this due to it being to do with pleurisy on my lungs/

Thank you for raising your concerns about a delay in receiving an echo scan appointment. The Cardiorespiratory Department usually send appointments that comply with expected turnaround times and for this reason the delay you describe should not happen and needs to be investigated. If you contact our Customer Services Team on 01270 612410 and give them your details then our Cardiorespiratory Service Manager will look into this for you
