"Cataract op. at Droitwich Spa Hospital"

Unlike the previous review, that I only read today 4th August, I had a also had a phone call from them, informing me that my local hospital (Hereford), Had asked if they could do my op. to reduce the waiting list.

My call was about 2 weeks ago, I got a confirmation letter with all details needed 3 days later, Telling me I was booked in for the 3rd August at 12:45.

My son drove me, we arrived at 12:30.

I was not kept waiting in reception, instead was told they were expecting me, and within 5 minutes delivered to a waiting room, where I was met by a very capable nurse. This by the way was my second cataract op. having my right eye done at Hereford 2 year.s previously. as opposed to Hereford where once into the long awaited system, the op. was performed quickly and efficiently in my opinion. At Droitwich Spa the op. took considerably longer, This is not a deficiency on their behalf, just a different way of doing it. Far superior care and attention was given. I am really only writing this to give my thank's to BMI The Droitwich Spa Hospital, As you can see by the dates, my op. was yesterday, and today I am capable of writing this, thank you Droitwich, by the time my holiday comes around, (8 weeks). I am confident my vision will be fully up & running . :) :) :)
