My consultants have admitted to having wrong notes about the cause of my pain in their notes, which can't be traced as the previous consultant has left. I was told I can attend a group therapy for pain, this was only available on Wednesdays at 10.30am when I'm at work, staff showed no concern that the hours weren't flexible for me. I was told by my consultant that these groups sessions are attended by a psychologist, but when asked at reception I was told it was a medical doctor - this seems very inconsistent. I also told my GP after a month of steroidal injections from the Aldershot pain team, that this made my pain worse. I never heard back from pain team in Aldershot about this, I went again a month later to my GP, to report about worsening pain again, again the pain team in Aldershot never responded and their excuse was that my follow up to the steroidal treatment was only one month away and I may aswell wait for this. Because of this I was prescribed amitriptyline whcih had more side effects that help - dry mouth to the point where I couldn't speak, tiredness and really increased appetite. I'm extremely unhappy with the services and trying to seek further support.
