i have various things wrong with my health, including diabetes, sleep apnoea, high cholesterol and high blood pressure, but my main concern is my back. i am over weight and, due to severe back pain, i cant exercise. I have had injections into my spine, but they have not worked.
my back pain specialist said there’s nothing he can do, if it didnt work the first time, its not going to work. i came home really depressed, as he more or less told me because of my weight and age, no one would give me an operation. his words were that they wouldnt touch me with a barge pole. nice for me to know! i am desperately unhappy.
i want to lose weight, but i cant afford to pay for a gastric band and I've been told that Shropshire has no money left! by the way, I’m 57 and unemployed.
