"X Ray mix up"

I visited grantham hospital earlier this week with a suspected broken rib i was taken to a cubicle for an examination by a doctor. They said I needed an x-ray and left me in the cubicle, 20 mins later the doctor came back in and said the x-ray was clear i informed the doctor that i hadn't had an x-ray i then waited a further 25 mins then they returned and said had i had an x-ray yet, i told the doctor i hadn't and they said they would sort it out.

the doctor did this as i was sent for the x-ray within 5 mins.

main point being that had i undergone an x-ray when the doctor first gave me the all clear i could have left without a proper diagnosis as the x-ray to which they referred must have been someone else's.

also prior to this on my arrival at the check in desk it took several attempts to communicate with the receptionist as a cleaner was hoovering the area making it impossible for either of us to hear.
