I was given a term + 2 weeks appointment which I had to attend unfortunately as I haven't gone in to labour naturally. The induction ward was good & I managed to get in to active labour. I required help with having my waters broken though. The staff were unable to do this and told me there was a backlog of women waiting for their waters to be broken. After staying on the ward, I learnt women have been waiting close to a week for their waters to be broken but they were just not getting called. There is a list and in a day not even 1 lady got called from the list. How will the backlog ever be cleared.
"Still waiting for waters to be broken!"
