Admitted at short notice with acute pancreatitis and stones in my bile duct I was filled with immediate confidence I was in the right place. The whole team were weloming. Being referred from my local hospital who had deferred treating me because of my previous stent fitting meant I was getting desperate to end three years of suffering.
From the first examination
I knew I would be OK , even my claustrophobia didn't matter, don't worry I was told.
The expertise showed time and time again. My gall bladder out ,then a few days later my stones removed, all without trauma .
I loved the way the sugeons and consultants all visited me in the ward to explain "the plan" as to how they would proceed.brilliant.
Heartfelt thanks to all concerned, I am fast making a recovery
