"Edenbridge Hospital - Absolutely brilliant care at Minor Injury Unit"

Late on a Saturday evening (10/09/07) I developed a pain in my right eye. As the night went on, my eye became increasingly more uncomfortable. Around 5am on Sunday morning (after realising that I couldn't sleep off my eye problem) I telephoned NHS direct. They recommended that I go to the Edenbridge hospital. I went there on Sunday morning, and was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the place felt, the place had a good vibe about it. I was seen within 5 minutes and service which I received was impeccable, second to none, completely not what I expected from an A&E unit. The nurse was very well informed which put me at ease instantly. This is very important -"put me at ease" . As I've already said, the problem was with my eye. Arguably, what with the eye one of your most important organs, I was extremely worried about what the problem could be. Hence being tended too so quickly and so effectively was very important. Anyway, the nurse was quick to diagnosis my problem, gave me the necessary treatment and sent me on my way in a much brighter state than when I came in 20 minutes earlier. Absolutely brilliant.
