"Very poor service"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

I had a cardiology appointment today, my appointment time was 2:15pm it is now 4:50 and I am still waiting to be seen. The communication from staff leaves a lot to be desired, and when they finally do communicate it is very abrupt and belittling. This is not something I would normally do but this has been a regular experience. I do not get the sense that anyone really cares because this has been highlighted verbally many times by me and other patients. I believe that the Values of the Trust is something that is something that is written on paper and remains on paper, I find this very disappointing.

I am very sorry to hear that your experience in our cardiology department yesterday was not satisfactory and that you had to wait.

I am also sorry to hear that you found the staff behaviour abrupt. I would like to share your comments with the relevant manager but it would be helpful to know which clinic you attended for your cardiology appointment so that I can direct the comments appropriately.
