"Excellent Care"

I am writing to express my satisfaction and gratitude to the staff within the Outpatients, Haematology and ENT departments at the hospital. So often do I read or hear negative comments regarding treatment at Tameside Hospital so I thought it important that excellence should also be heard about. Last year I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, so far my treatment, support and care has been wonderful. From the swift diagnosis to the follow-up care and support from the consultant and nurses to the healthcare staff, has been amazing. I have also had a recent referral to the ENT department, this also has been swiftly and expertly addressed and my care here has been brilliant.

Whilst there will always be someone who will always have a complaint or 2, it would be more supportive if those who were satisfied also let their feelings be known, everyone deserves to be recognised for their hard work!
