"Didn't think it was neseccary to inform of..."

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

My little boy had and appointment at ENT and audiology on 01/8/18, received a letter on Saturday 30/7/16 to inform me the ENT appointment had been cancelled because the consultant was on leave. So I continued to attend the audiology appointment with my little boy, sat in the waiting area of audiology to be told by the receptionist they can't find us on the system! I explained to the receptionist that they had cancelled the ENT appointment but as far as I was aware still had the audiology appointment. So

I then spoke to the ENT receptionist who then informed me that if one is cancelled then so is the other!!!

The letter to inform me of the cancelled ENT appointment did not stated the audiology appointment had been cancelled too! The receptionist said they are looking into this!!! Not good enough. stupidity at its best, we have a fantastic health care system that is tarnished by individual stupidity. The letter should of stated both appointments had been cancelled. ..................But your looking into this!!!!!
