"my visit to Queens hospital Romfod"

About: Queen's Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I visited Queens on Saturday as I had a burst sebaceous cyst and was in pain.

I was seen within 2 hours and informed that I would have an operation, I was sent to the ward and was examined by 2 doctors who promptly called the surgeons.

They tried their best to get me done on Saturday but were very busy so I was put as the golden one for Sunday morning to save me waiting for a slot. I arrived at 7:30 am Sunday morning and by 09:00 I was in the operating theatre.

To say I am impressed with the level of care I was given is not enough, I don't know what the CQC saw but my thanks to all the staff who made me feel special on both days.

Then I was sent to the polyclinic at Harold wood and they too are great. No pain at all and a job more than well done.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, I am delighted to hear that the care you received from our Emergency Department and our General Surgery Team was good. I will ensure that your feedback is passed onto both teams so that they are aware of your kind words. Once again, thank you for taking the time to make us aware of your experience.

Yours sincerely

Dr Nadeem Moghal
