Referred by GP to pain clinic. For me, it was final step towards dealing with many years of chronic neck pain. Access to weekly professional care from pharmacists and physiotherapists was exceptional. My main problem was headaches caused by referred pain and subsequent lack of sleep. Also I needed motivated to exercise again.
