My Mum was admitted having had a fall in her care home, on Thur 14th July. I would just like to commend the staff and their care of my Mum, and the thorough approach to her treatment, eg x ray, blood tests, saline drip, blood pressure. The care was very thorough, despite the 'ward' being extremely busy upon our arrival.
If I had to say one less positive thing, it would be that there was no soap in the toilet (I did report this, but it did not get refilled all the time we were there). However, that is the only negative thing I can say. All too often people bemoan the NHS. I think we are very lucky and it is excellent. With a few tweaks (reduce no. of chiefs and employ more hands-on-staff), the service would be fantastic.
Thank you VERY much.
