My husband was taken to NGH via ambulance having experienced chest pains, nausea and vomiting, sweating and clamminess. He had a cardiac arrest in the ambulance and I thought I had lost him. The ambulance crew and the ressuss team were incredible. They were able to ressuss him and he was taken for a procedure immendiately for stents into his heart. The staff not only looked after him but also myself, and kept us informed as to what was happening. The consultant came to tell us the procedure they had done and allay other fears.
The nursing staff were excellent, the ambulance crew came back later to check I was OK as well as my husband.
A first class service, the NHS at it best.
