(as the patient),

I received excellent, well communicated care from the Cardiology Service at Ninewells Hospital, when I required a new pacemaker this year. The information leaflets were very informative not only for the day but also a good reference for me after I returned home.

Although this is routine surgery all staff involved during the day made me feel very relaxed and confident that the procedure would be successful.

I was kept up to date with all stages of the surgery by friendly efficient staff.

I recovered well at home returning to work 2 weeks after the surgery.

I am indebted to this service, allowing me to return to my usual activities and work.
