"Visit with my child in ward D19 on 29.7.2016"

Hello, It's not often that I take up the chance to write a review but I feel it was essential! From the moment my son and I entered the ward last night for a sleep study appointment until the time we were discharged today, the care we received was outstanding. Everything was explained to us from the outset and the nursing team as well as the doctor who came to discuss the purpose of the sleep study showed excellent joined up thinking. My son and I felt so well looked after and no request was ignored. He particularly liked the dimmed lighting at nighttime, the painted walls showing a plethora of positive scenes and also the bed (yes, he loved the moving bed!!) Thank you for providing a bed for me to sleep on while my son was being monitored. Thank you for the complimentary refreshments available after a very long and exhausting day and finally thank you for helping me to champion the superb teamwork and thought that had gone into making our short stay positive and enjoyable. I wish you well.
