"Caring and understanding"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

I was admitted to A23 with a ruptured ovarian cyst, after my GP suspected polycystic ovaries. The staff were incredibly understanding and caring, even though it was 2 in the morning! It was scary as I didn't know how bad the rupture was, but the doctors and nurses reassured me that everything was fine and no infections or any other nasties had occurred. I'm now being treated for polycystic ovaries, and I have nothing but respect and love for all the lovely people that took care of me.

Thanks so much for getting in touch. I’ve shared your comments with the rest of the ward staff.

I hope you’re recovering well.

Best wishes,

Sarah Kordula.

Ward Manager, A23.
