"Radiologist"

About: Chelsfield Park Hospital

The radiologist that was meant to put dye into a cannula for my mother was extremely rude to us both, made my mum cry and worry that they would hurt her when putting it in and then spoke about her on the phone and we could hear them. Extremely unprofessional. They referenced a report that they had seen and admitted that they hadn't seen the original images and tried to tell us that the procedure my mum had been referred for was unwarranted even though she was 3months overdue her scan and there were cancer concerns. When she did then go for the MRI with contrast we were told that the radiologist had punctured the vein so the dye was now in her elbow not in her pancreas were it needed to be. So after being there for 2hours the scan didn't work and we've been told if her arm becomes swollen or she gets a rash to take her to the hospital. I've never been so appalled with private medical care. The one positive was a nice receptionist. We now have to wait to see if she can get it redone. Absolutely disgusted.
