About: Herts & Essex Community Hospital

While waiting for a blood test today I saw the receptionist on duty deal very calmly and helpfully with a gentleman who was trying to change an appointment date. It was not possible for the receptionist to do so for technical reasons and the gentleman was getting very agitated. They kept their composure and dealt with him courteously. It was also heartening to see a passing porter hover nearby in case they were needed. While having my blood test I felt faint and the phlebotomist was very helpful and sympathetic. Thank you Herts and Essex Hospital.
