I have been attending the Breast Care Unit and related departments since March of this year when my condition was diagnosed from a routine mammogram screen.
I really cannot speak highly enough of the treatment and care I have been given at each and every visit.
In particular the Lead Breast Care Nurse and their team.
I am on the road to recovery but could not have done it with the help and encouragement from everyone involved.
In fact I feel like the lead breast care nurse's only patient, they are that caring.
This hospital takes so much stick from people and the media but I can only speak as I find.
Without the screening service I would never have been diagnosed as the tumour was so small so thank you to the unit - you do such an amazing job.
If anyone finds themselves in a position where they are diagnosed with breast cancer, be reassured that everyone involved treats you with dignity, respect and understanding and you will be in excellent hands!
I was so anxious about what was going to happen but I was fully informed and involved with things every step of the way!
Thank you does not begin to express the gratitude a feel to all concerned.
With respect and gratitude to you all and please keep up the great service xxx
