"Amazing service from the A&E department"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as other),

It's inevitable that during a scout camp with nearly 100 scouts that accidents will happen that we, as scout leaders, can't handle. During the two weeks we had 5 visits to the A&E department with varying degrees of injury. The staff were extremely friendly and we were seen to very promptly with the longest stay being under 2 hours. They always kept our four scouts and one leader informed of what was happening and we are unable to fault them in the slightest.

Dear rugbymad

Sounds like quite a trip! Well done for getting through it relatively unscathed. I was delighted to hear that the treatment you received on each occasion was prompt, friendly and of your description of being kept informed, which is so important. I will be glad to share your post with staff who will very much appreciate your feedback. Thank you for taking the time to provide this.

Regards

Louise Ewing
