"Care and attention received on ward 12"

I was admitted to hospital for an hernia operation and had to stay for a few days and nights the care I received was exellent. the food was tasty and there was plenty on the plate, it was always warm and the staff were very helpful when I was not allowed out of the bed.

The care I received was brilliant and all the nurses and staff took time to talk and help even though they were very busy.

my family were always made to feel welcome which was very good for my recovery as my grandchildren cheered me up no end and when they left after visiting I always felt up lifted.

When I was discharged they took care of all my medication and after care appointments and made sure I had everything I needed, even a meal because my daughter was late picking me up, but the staff in the discharge room never complained and always checked to see if I need a drink or to take any medication. I know a lot of people put Leighton Hospital down but believe me they were caring and helpful at all times to me. I am waiting to go in for a gall bladder removal and manipulation of my frozen shoulder in the near future, but im not worried because I know I will be looked after.
