"A&E"

About: Royal Free Hospital

I went to A&E on the 26June 2016 Sunday at 9:36 am with a severe pain in my right side of the chest, shoulder and ribs initially I have been asked for the blood tests and one of the blood test lost God knows where but I was asked for one more blood test so all together I have had same blood test for three times.i have had couple of other scans and X-rays and diagnosed with pulmonary embolism, remember I had severe pain but no pain killer given for 8 hours in the A&E without food and pain killers and also I have been told that they can give me trammadol in the hospital but not to take it home. Sadly the prescription they gave can only be taken to the Lloyds pharmacy and pharmacy is closed on Sunday that means I have to live with this pain till the pharmacy opens on Monday it sounded like a joke to me PE is a life threatening Condtion which royal free hospital and it's doctors at A&E dealt with so poorly, after 9 hours I have been sent home as soon as I get home pain got worst I rushed back to the hospital again this time I couldn't talk couldn't breath nurse checked my blood pressure and fever and I told them to get me some help I can't breath and I fall of the chair while they went to get a doctor who came along with a nurse who've sounded like doctor's boss. I have been sent for X-ray and been given some more pain killers I couldn't take the pain I couldn't move and couldn't breath by the end of 5 standard hours time I have been told that I have got an infection in my lungs and been given prescription of anti biotics and trammadol I asked the doctor that am really scared to go home because i know that the pain will come back the doctor said if it was upto me I would have kept u but their seniors say that am stable to go home now so I have been sent home after 6 hours or so it's now 27th June I reached home tried to lie down in the bed and the stabbing pain starts again I called the ambulance which took me to hospital the third time it's midnight same doctors same procedure I have been told that there is nothing they can do they have given the medicines etc all I have to do now to wait for the appointment I was given with haemophilia department to see a consultant.i went through hell and stayed in A&E for more than 16 hours 3 times in a row.i saw a consultant who asked me if they can rip the prescription off for antibiotics because I don't have an infection I smiled and said you are the boss do whatever u like they gave me trammadol and other pain killers which calmed my pain down and they referred me to haemophilia and thrombosis dept where I seen by a doctor and told to take blood thinner and a scan of my legs to trace where the clot came from but no trace found am now on a blood thinner for three months or maybe for life because nurse and doctor in that dept left two different type of statements on the system.im sorry readers my story not yet finished but remaining words are finishing.A&E of Royal free is not a nice place to be and it is not clean at all, thanks
