"Poor Aftercare"

Having been very satisfied with the in-patient care during my operation for a prostatectomy I have been extremely disappointed with the lack of follow-up care.

I was admitted to another hospital with urinary retention on 3rd June. I reported this to HW on sixth of June. Promised action by the urology nurse prior to my already scheduled clinic (15th June) did not take place. I have had a catheter in place and have been waiting for an emergency cystoscopy for two months. I am unable to contact the person responsible for scheduling operations and procedures for information as the phone is not answered and there is no facility to leave a message. Contacting PALs was a waste of time.
