"Brilliant care"

About: St Mary's Hospital (Manchester)

I had my antenatal appointments in St Mary's and also gave birth to my son there. I couldn't complain of anything they've ever done. All my concerns at my appointments were always investigated with the midwives providing the best care I could wish for. I was referred to a specialist who looked after me after 20 weeks due to issues what St Mary's found - and no other hospital would even take notice of those issues I had. When I came in to have my son I ended up with emergency c section and the doctors were absolutely brilliant. They acted so fast and I owe them a lot for saving my sons life! Thank you for being such a good hospital and taking care of every woman and baby as individuals!

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the NHS Choices website regarding your care in the Antenatal clinic and on Ward 64 at Saint Mary’s Hospital. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the Midwifery staff and Doctors as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. It was reassuring to read that you thought the care you received was the best you could wish for and that you felt you and your baby boy were treated as individuals and your concerns were listened to. I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Mrs Murphy, Deputy Director of Nursing and Head of Midwifery and the staff involved.
