I would like to say thank you to all the staff who was involved in my treatment. I couldn't have asked for better. I had a nasty cut to my finger and gone through a nerve. The operation was cancelled twice. The first time I had not been added to the list for that day so I was going to be fitted in. This I was ok with. Then I got told it would have to be cancelled due to 2 emergencies that came in that morning and could I come back Friday afternoon instead. I had a call Friday morning explaining that I would be cancelled again and to come back Sunday. The operation was carried out on that day. I was very nervous about having the operation, but the anestatists, nurses and the surgeons explained everything that was going on at each stage, which really put me at ease.

The staff don't always get the recognition that they deserve.
