I was given a 12 week scan at 14 weeks and 6 days which meant that important tests could not be performed as it was too late, I was not aware of this, you made the appointment, I am not a midwife I do not know the significance of dates. On turning up for my 28 week bloods the midwife said you are 41 weeks and was I here for my pre-op!
I am not overweight by any means and bearly looked 28 weeks pregnant never mind 41. I was told "nobody knows why you are here".
You booked the appointment I was there at your request. This was a very disconcerting experience as the midwife obviously didn't bother to read my notes and use their 'professional expertise' observing me.
I have not been offered a tour of the birthing units or given any indication as to when it might be possible.
My biggest gripe is that there is a lack of communication I go for an appointment have blood taken, blood pressure taken nobody tells you why or ultimately gives you results or feedback, for all I know all my tests could have been lost.
I am seriously considering changing hospitals to hopefully one where the healthcare professionals actually read your notes and talk to you.
