"Appauling maternity care"

My daughter was admitted to the maternity ward on thurs afternoon at approx 3pm.and placed in a room on her own..she saw no one until someone entered her room at 10pm that night to get something from a cupboard and hadn't realised anyone had been booked in ..she was due a cesarean section as expecting twins and the growth has slowed on twin one...she was told on fri morn she couldnt eat or drink..as it would be that day ...by the afternoon she was told no cots available so wouldnt be on the friday...so she was able to eat / drink...she was told it would be most likely on the saturday if a cot became available on the neo natal...on the fri eve at 10pm she wad told she couldn't eat or drink again as the section was prob on sat...sat morning came and they were going to find her a bed at another hospital somewhere else..they couldnt find one so left her at manor..they had a doctor to do the section but no midwifery staff..no one could be spared to go to neo natal..after complaining to the staff they said when they had a shift change at 7pm they could do it ...eventually done at 11 pm that night ..she hadn't eaten or had a sip of water for over 24hours..its most inhumane..for a hospital on special measures to put a pregnant mother through this and in this hot weather ..you wouldnt be allowed to do it to an animal let alone a human being ..something needs to be done ..please investigate..
