About: Birmingham Children's Hospital / Paediatric surgery

(as a relative),

A massive TY to Nurses Dan, Anieka and Nina who cared beyond wonderfully for my granddaughter on Surgical Daycare. From the start we felt welcome and cared for very personally by Dan and his team. Although it was a very busy day - he and the girls always had time to stop and talk and give reassurance and calm all our anxieties. Everyone is quick to complain when things go wrong in the NHS but it seems no one is as keen to say "thanks" and we wish them to have the recognition they deserve and I'm sure don't always get.

We and my precious little granddaughter will never forget the fun filled day we had on SDC with the nurses and she is asking "when can I go back? ! ".

Dear Maxine,

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know what a great experience your granddaughter recently had - we do really appreciate it. It is particularly lovely that we were able to make coming in to hospital fun for her! I will share this with Dan, Aneika and Nina, and their manager, I know they too will be delighted to read such kind and positive comments.

I hope your granddaughter has made a full recovery.
