"Disgusted. Appalled. Disappointed. Shocked at..."

Not usually one to moan, complain or even find the time to write a review. And working in the NHS and care sector myself, I am always one of the first to defend the NHS it's staff and care sector. But I am genuinely disgutted with the care I received during labour at Wythenshawe maternity unit. I was not once treated like a person. There was no care, compassion, empathy or support. The staff were obnoxious, rude and neglectful. Never ever will I recommend this unit... it has been the worst experience in my life. More than half of the staff are newly qualified with no children and therefore seem to have no sympathy what so ever for the pain woman are going through in their care. Treated worse than a circus animal .... if you can avoid this place I certainly would. Never again will I step foot in the there.
