When I came to have my baby initially planned by induction - the wards were so busy there was not the staff to help complete my induction despite going into labour. The midwives dealt with this extremely well however I felt the doctor led team who informed us could have had more empathy.
I ended up having an elective csection which the senior midwife arranged for me. This was managed extremely well - the anaethestist was professional, kind and the whole theatre team were friendly & effective. Thanks to the staff on Ward 10 who provided excellent aftercare and brilliant breastfeeding support.
