"Thank You for saving my life"

I write this on behalf of my mother who has recently been discharged. Mam was admitted as an emergency, treated by an amazing team in Resus, where I was witness to the most caring and dignified treatment of my mam by all staff, despite her not being expected to survive. Mam then moved to Ward 24, again she was treated with the utmost respect and dignity by a team of the most caring, dedicated hard working people you will meet. Mam stayed in the ward for 5 weeks and even enjoyed the food, despite being a fussy eater. Mam would like to thank everyone involved in her care, Doctors, Nurses, HCAs, Physios, catering staff, cleaners and anyone else shes forgot about, thank you from the bottom of her heart. You are all a credit to the NHS.
