"Queens medical centre, paediatric A&E and children's burns unit"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

Our 13 month old had a horrible accident with some boiling hot water, it was very distressing for us all but the fantastic care we received at queens medical centre helped us massively, they are attentive, kind, caring, work very hard and I haven't a bad word to say about the staff we met, they looked after my son so well And even had him smiling and distracted even though he was in pain, they are thorough with the treatment and are organised and don't mess you about or keep you waiting for hours and hours. I would recommend this hospital always, you are in safe hands here!

This must have been a frightening experience for the whole family. I’m pleased to hear our staff made it a little better for you and your son.

You might be interested to know that nominations are open for our annual staff NUHonours awards. If you would like to nominate someone from your son’s care you can do so via our website (your nomination would fall under the Family Health division award): https://www.nuh.nhs.uk/nuhonours

Best wishes to you all,

Kerry Webb.

Matron, Nottingham Children’s Hospital.
