"Angels in disguise"

About: Heartlands Hospital

I am writing this review as my mother was taken to A&E, as well as AMU and eventually ward 26. Throughout her stay I can honestly say I have never met such caring compassionate members of staff. From domestic, porters,HCA's, nurses and seniors, radiologists, cardiologists to doctors and consultant. Every single person who had contact with myself and my mother were polite, kind caring, considerate and nothing was a problem for them.

They had time to chat with my mum (who can talk for England!) we want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved. The food was amazing!

I work at a hospital down south an the food is nothing compared to heartlands. So tank you, thank you and thank you again xxxx

Thank you very much for taking the time out to provide us with your kind comments about the treatment and care given to your mother when she was admitted to Heartlands Hospital.

I am so pleased to read that all of the staff you came into contact with, firstly in our Accident and Emergency Department, AMU and then Ward 26, as well as the porters, radiologists and all other healthcare professional staff were caring and compassionate throughout your mother's stay. I will highlight your feedback to the Matrons for the relevant areas you described, who will ensure that your kind comments are communicated to their respective teams. Lovely comments such as yours always gives such a boost to our staff who work extremely hard in often difficult circumstances to provide a positive patient experience. I am also thrilled to read that you and your mother felt that the food was amazing! I will ensure this is highlighted to our Catering Team who will be delighted to read your feedback, and again, share it with their team! I am sure they will particularly appreciate your comment that our menus far surpasses the food served at your own trust down South!

Once again, thank you so much for taking the time to provide your feedback, it is extremely important to us.
