"Mothers Recent In Patient Experience"

About: Good Hope Hospital

Our Mother has recently been discharged from Ward 9 of Good Hope Hospital, following an inpatient stay in excess of 3 weeks. The care she received throughout her stay has been exemplary.

The staff were attentive to both her and us, always happy to answer our numerous questions, nothing seemed too much trouble for them and this appeared to be the same for all patients.

This level of care came from both nursing and medical staff.

I think caring for elderly people is particularly challenging and takes a specific type of person.

The team seem particularly dedicated.

Thank you to everyone for all you did for Mama whilst she was in your care.

Thank you very much for posting your feedback about your Mother's recent admission and stay at Good Hope Hospital on Ward 9.

I am so pleased to read that you found all of the care provided was of an exemplary standard, that staff were helpful and attentive at all times, happy to answer any queries and that the same standard was observed in staff's dealing with all patients. You must have found that very reassuring at such a worrying time.

I will ensure that your feedback is highlighted to both the Ward Manager and the Matron for Ward 9 at Good Hope Hospital, and they will communicate this to all of the staff on Ward 9 who work very hard to provide a positive patient experience.

I hope this is acceptable and once again thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, it is extremely important to us.
