"Left hospital in worse conditon I went in for..."

About: East Surrey Hospital

Went in for a arthoscopy on left knee (have had 6 or 7 previous by consultant) as I was experiencing knee slightly locking due to torn cartiledge and aching after walking a couple of miles. Had one on my right knee two years ago and they removed all cartiledge but no pain and still very little problems with it. Yet after the one to my left knee I have constant pain (not ache) and it locks every time I bend or straighten it now and I lose sleep every night as the pain keeps me awake. I have mobility problems now and this started straight after the op. I thought it would improve but has got much worse. This was carried out by a registrar not a consultant and I assure you its not pain from arthritus as was suggested afterwards. As I stated had plenty of these ops by consultants and the one time by a registrar I am left in constant pain! I know they have to learn but not at my expense, thank you.
