What I liked

Visited the hospital as a prospective employee, and I wanted to see if the good reviews on this site are indeed true. I was not disappointed.

All the areas I passed through/visited were clean (MUCH cleaner than my current hospital!), modern, well-equipped and with good facilities.

But best of all were the staff - friendly, professional, helpful and with none of the rudeness and attitude i frequently see at my current hospital, Everyone I met and spoke to was a real credit to the hospital. I really hope that my application is successful, because after my recent experience is typical, I would be proud to say that I work there.

What could be improved

The male toilet facilities in the main entrance are falling to pieces, with toilet rolls kept on the floor (hardly good for infection control!) or hung on the coat hooks, as the holder has broken off and not been repaired! Several other repairs are also required. In such a prominent place as the main entrance, repairs such as these ought to be given a high priority, as they spoil an otherwise excellent environment, and may give a poorer impression of the hospital.
